Given its dismal failure rate and total lack of updates I'm less than inclined to pay for the full version as I doubt its performance will be better. Not sure I've fathomed this correctly yet as I end up with a 10GB rip using that!!ģ) MakeMKV on a Windows desktop which provides an MKV file that I then transfer to the MBP for Handbrake to convert. I'm reluctant to even bother with it further seeing as it's failed about 30% of the time so far. ![]() Maybe it was better before (noting there's been no actual update to it for 2-3 years +) but having just got round to the painful chore of ripping my DVD collection to digital (both in original format and Apple TV) I have found Ripit the worst offender of any of the other options I've tried with disc read errors (generally when it's got 80% + the way through!!) on flawless discs, forcing me to eject and start again. In all honesty I can't see why all the glowing praise has been given to Ripit across many forums and such like for several years. ![]()
